Kickstart your child's journey into the world of coding! Let your child gain an early exposure to computational thinking and prepare him/her for advanced coding classes.
Equivalent of Coding Discovery Camp (Junior Starter)
Can you learn coding without a computer? Discover the connection between the digital and physical worlds via a tiny robot and a drag-and-drop programming interface! This programme introduces basic programming concepts and instills creativity and resilience in kids.
No prior experience in programming or robotics needed.
Courses are limited to six students per teacher.
Equivalent of Coding Discovery Camp (Junior Tinkerer)
Learn how to create interactive games and animations using a friendly block-based programming interface! Building upon their basic knowledge from Junior Starter, this programme will let kids learn how to design and build their own features in games and animations.
Prerequisite: Junior Starter OR basic experience in Scratch
Courses are limited to six students per teacher.
What do math and coding have in common? This programme enhances and strengthens coding skills, and encourages students to integrate mathematical and programming concepts to design and build games and digital artwork from scratch.
Prerequisite: Junior Tinkerer OR intermediate experience in Scratch
Courses are limited to six students per teacher.
How are ultra-cool games and animations made? In this final Junior Coders module, students will learn how to deconstruct complex game and animation ideas into simple algorithms that they can build on their own. Students will get to work on their own unique project ideas and turn them to reality!
Prerequisite: Junior Builder OR intermediate-advanced experience in Scratch
Courses are limited to six students per teacher.
Upon completion of the Junior Coders programme, students will move on to the Tween Coders programme.
Students with higher abilities will have the chance to join the specialised programmes which introduce real-world coding based on the concepts they have learnt over the past few modules.
Learn to create amazing websites that are functional and interactive using JavaScript, HTML and CSS! Students will get to express their creativity and combine their computational thinking skills to bring their ideas to life.
Learn the general-purpose programming language used to create complex, real-world systems! More advanced computer science concepts will be introduced through this programme.
We believe that young people learn best through kinesthetic and tactile activities, rather being on the screen all the time. Today's kids are growing up amongst technology, but most of it is fundamentally intangible and difficult to conceptualize for children. Our unique blend of physical and on-screen activities will help our students grasp the concepts behind how day-to-day technologies work. Students will gain a higher level of appreciation for the tools and technologies around them.
Our founding team and teachers are industry practitioners who are born and bred in Singapore and are graduates of NUS School of Computing, one of the top schools in the world for Computer Science. They are familiar with both the technology and education scene in Singapore and are ready to share the most relevant and up-to-date knowledge with our students.
Our lesson materials are prepared with our students' interests in mind and train them to think, design and code using fun and interactive activities. We have a well-structured programme to ensure that learning continues beyond the holidays.
Our small class size of 6 students to 1 teacher means that our students will always get the attention they need to maximise their learning.
